1. Can I advertise Sitemap 4 Traffic from my website?
   Yes, please feel free to do so.

2. Do you support Linux, OS/2 or Macintosh?
   Sitemap 4 Traffic only supports the Microsoft Windows operating systems. We don't and we have no plans to support anything else at this time.

   You may try to use Wine to make it work but we don't give any gurantee for that action.

3. What is the settings content?
   

   • Project name

   This is the project name it is better to set this to your domain name.

   • Add only the urls that is pointing to same domain [Checkbox]

   The default of this is set to yes. If you want to include links from your site to other domains in your sitemaps you can do so by unchecking this box.

   • Don't include urls on Error 404 [Checkbox].

   The default of this is set to yes. If you want to include broken links from your site you can do so by unchecking this box.

   • Domain Path

   This your domain url.

   • Website codepage.

   If you have website that contain other than windows 1252 please set it here.

   • Excluded domains and folders

   If you don't want link on a subdomain or a folder you can do so by placing it here. Use full url path and separate each url by commas. Example "http://www.hits4free.net/somefolder/, http://www.hits4free.net/otherfolder/"

   • File types that will be included in html sitemaps.

   Here are the file types that will be included in the html sitemaps. For example if you don't want to include all php page in html sitemap you can do so by deleting php from this field.

   • Include all Mime types.

   The default of this is set to yes. If you don't want some file types to be included in Google sitemap you can do that by unckecking this box then removing the extension form text field.

   • Don't download any file.

   The default of this is set to No, but zip, exe, rar are set to not be downloaded.

   • Sitemap Header title.

   This is the header that will be used on all of your html sitemap pages.

   • Sitemap Footer title.

   This is the footer that will be used on all of your html sitemap pages.

4. What are the main steps required to build an html sitemaps for my site?
   

   1. Create New project by pressing "New" button.
   2. Go to settings and set your domain URL. Save the project.
   3. Press Crawle Tab then hit start button.
   4. Wait until the crawler finishes. The time the crawler will take is depending on the site of your website, you PC connection speed and your project setting.
   5. When finish the application will prombte a message choose yes to save the found links.
   6. Hit to sitemap Tab. Select Html Pages Tab if it not selected.
   7. Hit Create Html sitemaps and wait until it is done.
   8. The application will open the new created folder in Windows Explorer.
   9. Upload all the files from this folder to a folder on your website let us call it "sitemaps".
   10. On top of your home page place this html line: <A href="http://www.yoursitename.com/sitemaps/sitemap1.htm"><FONT size="2">sitemap</FONT></A>
   11. Done.

5. What are the main steps required to build Google sitemap for my site?
   

   1. Create New project by pressing "New" button.
   2. Go to settings and set your domain URL. Save the project.

   6. Hit to sitemap Tab. Select Google Tab if it not selected.
   7. Hit Create Google sitemap and wait until it is done.
   8. The application will open the new created folder in Windows Explorer.
   9. Upload the sitemap.xml file from this folder to your website.
   10. Point your browser to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/siteoverview 
   11. Register in google and set your website sitemap to "sitemap.xml" file you upload.
   12. Done
